Dr. Eric Friedman

The dental providing communities of Pennsylvania’s Buck County and Pocono area are significantly enhanced by the presence of Dr. Eric Friedman. As a co-founder of Absolute Smile, Dr. Friedman also officiates and presides as a Director of Dental Operations within these regions of the state.

Education

Possessing a passion for the field of dentistry, Dr. Friedman attended the prestigious and highly acclaimed University of Pennsylvania Dental School, having graduated with respectability in 1999. Dr. Friedman chose to dedicate his acquired expertise in dentistry to patients of Pennsylvania. Upon making such a focused decision, he elected to hone his applicable dental skills and talents as a resident and practicing dentist within Sacred Heart Hospital’s general dentistry residency program, located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Dr. Friedman successfully completed his residency in the field of generalized dentistry within one year.

Enhancement

Amid Dr. Friedman’s residency, his interest within the practice and treatments for specialized field of cosmetic dentistry surfaced and was realized. Therefore, upon completing his residency in 2000, Dr. Friedman enthusiastically sought and secured a most impressive practicing role as an associate at a renowned and distinguished cosmetic dental practice located in the heart of Philadelphia for an impressive tenure of three years. While engaged in the practicing arts of cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Friedman’s desire to enhance and encompass the more technical aspects of specialized dental procedures lead him to an intensive path of both practicing and pursuing ongoing education simultaneously.

Accreditation

Dr. Friedman, upon embarking in the pursuits of advanced and specialized dentistry, determined his specific fields of interest relevant to his professional goals, which included endodontic, orthodontic, implant and cosmetic specialties. In evaluating the level of ongoing education in correlation to such technical aspects of dentistry that he aspired to achieve success in, it would require for him to study and practice under what would be considered as world-class dental educators. Under such specialized tutelage, Dr. Friedman acquired the practicing technicalities and accompanying art in the practice of painless, computerized and single visit treatment for root canal procedures, completing all curriculums to excellence.
• 2002 – Orthodontics, mini-residency. Dr. Friedman acquires the proficiency in Invisalign technology and application, graduating with respectability.
• 2003 – Las Vegas Implant Institute. Dr. Friedman studied and obtained advanced implant education through the renowned Dr. Hass of Connecticut.
• 2005 – Cosmetic Smile Make Over Education. Dr. Friedman successfully completes advanced education in the dental techniques and practices incorporating crowns, inlays and porcelain veneers.
• 2006 – Aesthetic Skin Institute, world leaders in Botox and Dermofiller technology. To enhance cosmetic dental practices, Dr. Friedman enhanced his ongoing education through such institute’s curriculum to graduate respectfully.

Dr. Friedman and his brother and colleague, founded and established the core Absolute Smile office in 2004. Having excelled in providing cosmetic, family and implant dentistry for patients, 2007 has found the Friedman brothers to expand their respected practices and specialties to four offices.

As a prestigious co-founder of Philadelphia’s Absolute Smile, Dr. Friedman also fulfills a vital role in serving as a Clinical Director relevant to the practices of dentistry for Philadelphia and the city’s neighboring locales.

Education

Dr. Friedman has obtained immense education in the field of dentistry. He acquired his initial, core and sound dental expertise at Temple University School of Dentistry, from where he graduated with honors in 2000. Immediately, upon graduating, he joined a significant group practice, located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Possessing an intense and dedicated desire to enhance both his experience and advanced education in the field of dentistry, Dr. Friedman simultaneously pursued his goals while practicing dentistry. For the next three years, this devoted dentist set on a mission to continue a dental practice along with embarking upon rigorous curriculums of studies lead by world-renowned dental educators.

Amid Dr. Friedman’s passionate quest to further hone and expand his expertise in specialized dental practices, he broadened his focus of study to include endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and periodontal surgery, along with extensive implant placement technology. A summary of this multi-faceted dental professional’s stellar achievements include the following accomplishments –

• 2000 – Tulsa Endodontic courses. Dr. Friedman masters the highly detailed practices in rotary and computer aided endodontics. The skills involved infused him with the exceptional ability to administer painless root canal treatments in a single clinic or office visit.
• 2001 – DenMat Company, creator of Lumineers. As a company specializing in and providing continuing education curriculum studies in the practices of cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Friedman consistently enrolled and attended multiple courses in the approaches and practices within the special techniques of such dental enhancements.
• 2002 – Invisalign, specialists in orthodontic procedures. Having completed respected certification from the company of specialized orthodontic treatments, Dr. Friedman utilized such techniques within his practices.
• 2003 – Perio Institute, highly acclaimed educators within the specialized field of periodontal surgery. Dr. Friedman enrolled and participated directly in multiple courses of practical studies for advanced surgical procedures.
• 2003 – Implant Dentistry, continuing specialized education, to include world class and renowned implant clinicians Dr. Burdo, Dr. Ivanovich and Dr. Misch. Having become proficient in the technologies associated with implant placement that incorporated the heralded 3i implant system, Dr. Friedman supplement and enhanced his knowledge of implant placement techniques by attending an impressive number of continuing educational courses concentrating of the technicalities of implant dentistry.

Achievements

Dr. Boris Friedman, in conjunction with his brother, applied his expansive attributes within the overall field of dentistry, and, in 2004, founded and established the initial Absolute Smile Dental Office. As of 2007, the brothers operate their respected practice from four different sites. Absolute Dental encompassing practices include cosmetic, family and implant dentistry.

2005 found Dr. Boris Friedman being named as a member to the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Alla Fishman

A worldly educated and practiced dentist is Dr. Alla Fishman. Having set her professional course of dental studies to encompass general dentistry on a World Wide scope, Dr. Fishman acquired her dental education and expertise in three major countries, has practiced dentistry in three nations, and, to enhance communication, became fluent in three languages.

Accreditation

Desiring to become a presence on the International dental scene in administering dentistry within a broad range, Dr. Fishman chose and dedicated her pursuits towards the field of general dentistry. The initial phase of this generalizing dentist’s education in overall dentistry began in Moscow, Russia, in 1974, and, following six years of intensive schooling, concluded in 1980, with Dr, Fishman graduating as a respected graduate of Moscow Dental School in 1980. Over two decades later, Dr. Fishman passion to enhance and embrace advancements within general dentistry led her to enroll at New York University’s Dental School in 2004. Three years later, she had completely and successfully fulfilled the curriculum to graduate in 2007.

Career

Upon receiving her first doctorate in dentistry, Dr. Fishman embarked upon what resulted in an eleven-year tenure that spanned from 1980 to 1991, as a specialist in the dental field of prostodontitst in a Russian government dental clinic. Dr. Fishman, fortified with a substancial host of general expertise and experience, elected to launch into private dental practice. Therefore, the fully-fledged and confident dentist journeyed and relocated to Israel, where she acquired an Israeli license to practice general dentistry. In 1992, Dr. Alla Fishman founded her own dental office within Israel that resulted in a successful seven years of private practice. To further enhance her profession, for the purposes of interacting and communicating with both colleagues and patients, Dr. Fishman supplemented her native language of Russian with fluency in Hebrew and English.
